Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026
Information Gridlock stores
- Game progress (honks, upgrades, vehicles, achievements) is stored on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. The developer cannot access it.
- Settings such as sound on or off are stored on your device only.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of Gridlock shows banner, interstitial and optional rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve, limit the frequency of and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address (used to estimate your approximate location), device and app information, crash and performance diagnostics, and your ad interactions. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and some US states), Gridlock asks for your consent using Google's consent tool before ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Garage → Privacy Options. You can also limit ad tracking in iOS Settings.
Gridlock does not use the App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Gridlock never sees your payment information. It only receives confirmation of which items you own, so it can unlock them.
Children
Gridlock is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Deleting the app removes the local save. To remove the iCloud copy, turn off iCloud for Gridlock in iOS Settings, or delete it under Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. For advertising data, see Google's controls at myadcenter.google.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
