EmberForge ("the App") is developed by an independent developer ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data the App collects and how it's used.
EmberForge does not require an account, login, or any personal information to play. Your game progress — gold, producers, upgrades, Ember Shards, settings — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or any server we control. We do not collect your name, email, or any other personal identifiers.
EmberForge uses two third-party services to operate:
Google AdMob (advertising). We show a small banner ad and optional, opt-in rewarded video ads through Google's AdMob SDK. To serve and measure these ads, AdMob and its partners may collect device and advertising identifiers, IP address, and app usage data. This data is governed by Google's own policies:
Apple StoreKit (in-app purchases). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information — Apple handles billing directly, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
EmberForge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
Because your game data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by deleting the App. We do not retain a copy anywhere else. Any data AdMob collects for ad delivery is retained and deleted according to Google's own retention policies, not ours.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
